SUMMARY:2024 Quadrennial Assembly
DESCRIPTION:“All Things are New: New Beginnings\, New Perspectives” \nTherefore\, if anyone is in Christ\, the new creation has come. The old has gone\, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) \nOn behalf of the Board of Directors and our National President\, Mira J. Washington we are excited you will join us at the 2024 Quadrennial Assembly\, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Chicago\, Oak Brook\, Illinois. \nWe pray you find this personal and professional investment important in your self-care\, self-awareness\, and collective empowerment of women\, girls and family in all aspects of society. \nThe Quadrennial Assembly gathering of ecumenical denominations\, partners\, women of faith organizations\, activists\, advocates\, and people of good faith from our global community converging virtually to respond to Christ’s call to be the church to the poor\, marginalized\, disempowered\, and voiceless members at home and around the world. \nOur assembly gathering more than ever\, seeks to focus our members\, partners\, and allies on the most urgent and consequential social justices’ issues impacting the well-being of women and girls: health and well-being\, climate stewardship\, racial justice\, and hunger and poverty.  We will examine these social justice priorities from the voices of those on the margins\, to scholars\, theologians\, social justice activists and women leaders seeking to influence change. \nThank you for your support! \nWith gratitude\, \nThe 2024 Quadrennial Assembly Planning Team
